Very helpful list! Useful especially to those who are still planning to become a digital nomad. Other than those mentioned, indeed a bluetooth speaker, a powerful backpack, a super lightweight laptop table, a travel pillow, and a great pair of travel footwear, are a must for me! :)

I agree with you MayaNik! I can't imagine myself traveling with a desktop computer either! But a travel pillow and sunscreen (not sure if this is considered as a gear, LOL!) are at the top of my list. :D

Great list! Is your monitor a portable monitor? I was looking at those on Amazon and lots of the reviews on all of them seem to indicate that the poop out within a year but I hate my work laptop. I love my personal mac but with all the security, I can't do work on my personal laptop.

I had a question about the mobile hotspot. I've read about Huawei but what about some of the other the ones from carriers or Skyroam? I have T-mobile and using my phone as a hotspot did NOT work in Europe. and I'm about to head to Latin America so I really need to find a reliable mobile hotspot. How difficult is Huawei to set up? Do I just need a local sim in Mexico with a data plan for it to work? I just got a remote gig in October of last year and spent 2.5 months in Europe (which was easy compared to Latin America!) so I'm new at all of this. Thank you in advance!
