Hmm, socialism has long claws.

Im not sure why any "country" believes you are its property. You had zero say in the matter. Once you leave and go elsewhere that should be the end of it IMO.

The more people are mobile the more countries will have to become attractive. This is the whole concept of the European Union article 45; freedom of movement principle.

Blaming free individuals for the ills of their previous country of residence is like a festering maggot laden cess pit rental owner blaming his tenants when they leave to go to a cleaner better apportioned flat.

Hey!

A few years I was lucky enough to descover Bulgaria, and I decided to move to Sofia to open a new company (Bitcoin related), and since then I'm here. In the meanwhile I opened an accounting/consulting company too with locals, because doing business here IMO is great.
A lot of people chose to come here for the low taxation (flat tax 10%), but there are other more important reasons: the overall cost of living is super low (and Sofia is a nice city/capital), but also flights are super low. From Sofia airport I can travel wherever in Europe for less then 40€. That's the main reason because I love to stay here :) I spend less and travel more!
