Abundance Design a Permaculture & Sustainable Design consultancy will be leading and training the DIY WORKSHOP EARTHBAG BUILD (https://www.facebook.com/abundancedesign)

5 hours of working on the build per day. That is all that is required. Everyday you will be briefed for the day's activities.

This Earthbag build is planned for 1 month currently and all participants can be a part of either:

1) 10 day work period, which can be any time of the build, or the more beneficial

2) 30 days total period of the build

It is recommended however, to be there for the full month to learn to build your own beautiful weatherproof low cost natural home, from the gravel foundation to the living roof to the mud art finishing.

Home cooked food prepared local style. All meals will be provided - morning tea, breakfast, lunch, evening tea with snacks and dinner.

Rs.18,000 for 30 days
This is the price for and food and accommodation. Training is free.

We expect our campers to follow the main rule of the Gurukul, which is respect for the educators, one another, the flora-fauna and the environment. We reserve the right to dismiss campers in the unlikely event if there are discipline issues.

Comfortable large Jungle Safari tents sleeping 4-5.
Mattresses, Pillows and Blankets.

Accommodation – Jungle Safari Tents, comfortable and spacious (sharing basis), Washrooms separate.
Meals- Hot home cooked breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea/coffee and snacks will be provided.
Laundry – Washing machine is available.
Networks available – Idea, Vodaphone and BSNL connection.
If you are lucky a 2G connection too.

Live in stone and mud and wood and salvaged material based cosy cottages, eat real food freshly picked from the garden, learn about canning and preserving, savour the taste of home made jams and jellies and pickles and sauces.

And when that's done, interact with the farm cows and ducks and chickens and dogs and horses, have a picnic by the natural stream, get lost in one of the hidden nooks with a book, go trekking ... just live the beautiful life!
