The sharing economy revolutionized lodging and ride sharing, thanks to companies such as Airbnb and Uber. Now tours and learning experiences for tourists, curated by independent local guides, and marketed through an online peer to peer marketplace, may become a hot topic in 2017.

We are conducting a blind survey related to P2P marketplaces for experience travel.

Experiences are activities or events hosted by locals, tailored to areas of interest to travellers. For example, visiting street markets with , enjoying the world's best roasted coffee with the owner of a scenic cafe, learning to make sushi with a master, training with a samurai artist, or surfing lessons in Bali with professional surfers.

Our survey is intended to measure the interest of Singaporeans in becoming experience hosts themselves, or those interesting in using a P2P platform to discover tours and learning experiences for their next vacation (or staycation).

This is a blind survey, but the results will be analysed by an international travel agency. Your responses and any personal information will be kept strictly confidential. There might be opportunities to work as a guide, so please provide an accurate email and positive answer to the appropriate question in the survey if interested in being contacted.
