Nice to e-meet you here! Being a digital nomad myself, I've always been looking for all kinds of gears that suit my lifestyle. I'm a freelance translator so I have my laptop everywhere I go, however the battery can hardly last 2 hours(it says 6-7 hours in its ads, that's why I bought it in the first place, what a shame!), I searched on the internet and luckily found one with 120K mAH capacity, weighing around 500g, and now I can work anywhere without worrying about running out of power any more. Anyone interested please PM me. Still looking for laptop desk/chairs though. Thanks!

Don't overburden with a heavy load on your back. The backpack market has got plenty of choices for selecting one good backpack. While choosing a backpack for DM consider the gear organization, features, durability, brand, previous customer reviews, and the cost. Don't think always a costly one will bring all good features. There are several good backpacks available with a lot of features at an affordable cost.
Spending a few minutes online before making a purchasing decision will save your pocket and bring comfort.

1. Roll, don't fold.

Many travel experts—including backpackers, who must stuff months' worth of clothing into a pack the size of a box of wine—agree that rolling is superior to folding. Tightly rolled clothes take up less space than folded ones. Plus, they're less prone to getting deep wrinkles from fold creases.

2. Make a packing list

When it comes to packing, procrastinators fall short. Start your packing process days or even weeks ahead of your departure date; this gives you time to craft a complete list, plus purchase any additional items you might need for your vacation. Creating a packing list is a fail-safe way to ensure that you never, ever forget to bring something important.

3. Know your airline's baggage-fee policy

Figuring out the airlines' tricky and befuddling baggage-fee policies is key to any budget-minded packing strategy. While most airlines permit travelers to check at least one bag on international flights, the majority of U.S. carriers charge big bucks for bags checked on domestic flights.

I'm preparing myself for the transition from rehab to DN. I had a workplace accident resulting in an amputated right leg.

I have a government annuity, can live comfortably in Australia if id like, and I'm currently establishing a personal Algo Trading system for travel. So work and $$ are not the problems, more general healthcare, maid services, personal chefs etc for someone like myself??

If there are any disabled DNs OR even if you have met with some during travel I would love to hear any constructive comments.

Cheers

Though little costly, Osprey Exos 58 will be a great option. Osprey Exos 58 is a great comfortable backpack, you will love it. :| :| :|

For clothes I have my basic: thin socks, travel underwear, 1 tshirt, 1 jeans, shorts that slyly double as shorts and swimwear.
For jacket, sweaters, and anything i find its best not to carry. I buy it when I am in a region that requires special clothes then leave it when I leave. This allows me to pack light, dress like a local, and buy the cheap clothes that are available in the 3rd world. Anything you need you probably don't.

About one year ago, when I was temporarily living in another European country, I saw myself travelling more than ever before and found that the flimsy backpack I owned was not appropriate.

As such, I decided to buy one. But, at the time, I knew nothing of suitable backpacks for travelling more than the occasional weekend or two-week trip. (To be fair… I still don’t, hence why I’m here)

I ended up buying an Everett Ardenis 40. During the times I’ve used it I’ve noted some good and bad things about it.

Recently I’ve been looking at suitable packs for long-term backpackers and that can pass as carry-ons, but I cannot come to a conclusion whether my current backpack is good enough or if I should buy a different one.

I was hoping that, giving you some details of my pack, you’d kindly offer me your honest opinions on the overall backpack and especially if you think it can pass as a Carry-on bag?

Details:
-Height-adjustable canopy
-The pit for additional attachment
-Clamping Trekking sticks and anchor
-H2O ready – preparation for water bag with a lead
-Shoulder straps – anatomically shaped and padded
-Side compression straps
-Chest strap with whistle
-Hip belt (anatomically shaped and padded) with 2 pockets
-Side Elastic pockets
-Front access to inside which opens all around and in the middle, as well as top access
-1 internal compartment (non-padded or protected; not much internal pocket division in general)
-1 top external pocket/compartment
-Back system: breathable, AIRON VENTILATION SYSTEM + ventilation control AIRON REGULATION SYSTEM. Height adjustable
-Integrated Raincover
-Loading capacity: 14kg
-Volume: approx. 40l
-Overall dimensions: 57 x 29 x 25 cm
-Material: Nylon 420D 2-layer ripstop 600D/PU

Additional information:
-Lockable zippers (ringed zippers).
-No place to tuck away the straps if needed
-No extra Dailypack

*For images of the backpack, just google Everett Ardenis 40 backpack, because I still need to learn how to attach pictures on posts like this... urgh, shame on me (I see the icon up there, but ain't really sure what to do after I've clicked on it...)

Thanks so much for the attention. I hope to hear from you because what I really need is a second, third, fourth (whatever) opinion on the matter. :D
