I lived in a Mercury Monterey minivan for several months across North America. Not a big experts in vans but will only say that the most important part of all is maintaining your vehicle BEFORE something breaks. (: Also, if you intend to live in your vehicle long term you may want to consider adding solar panels and a battery bank on the roof to power your appliances - this makes life super more easy!

From 2012 we live fulltime in our VW Westfalia T4 van, pretty awesome engine (for the the best one ever made) and now at 350.000km. Our van was already converted and we just made few changes. We recently upload some new videos that will might help you on choosing a right one: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... mMiXMa1Y2w
