Hey Karem, To be honest I think while many digital nomads can be respectful of local culture, our presence often erodes it with demands for Western conveniences. From an environmental standpoint, it can be a very wasteful lifestyle with frequent flights, use of water bottles etc. You can't really ho...

I have been to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur & Bangkok. Stay at Mingle Hostel in Kuala Lumpur and try to stay in the hostel in Singapore that offers free scooter tours (so amazing!). Of those three I would say Singapore is my favourite in terms of being an interesting city. But Kuala Lumpur I have mad...

Hey Jack! The biggest piece of advice I can offer is to not plan anything! Booking your flights in serious advance can really restrict your freedom to go with the flow. You're going to meet so many people and have so many amazing opportunities that will take you in directions you could have never an...

If you're headed to Kuala Lumpur stop by my friends hostel called Mingle Hostel - http://www.minglekl.com/ I met two of the owners, Sin Leong and Steven Kap during my exploration of South East Asia and I have returned to KL 2-3 times just to visit those awesome guys. Let them know Robbie sent you an...

Something is always available but it just might be a little more expensive. Realistically its best to wait to get there and look around in person. Booking something online is convenient, but in my experience the rental pictures often look nicer than the reality :)

Re: Filling expenses in country of origin while traveling

Hey Ben, The exact answer will depend on the country you're from. I'm from Canada and usage of foreign coworking spaces can be claimed as long as you keep receipts. The origin of the country of the receipt should not really matter, it's more important what the receipt is for. Looking into business t...

A few options I've seen are the tall roof vans like the Dodge Sprinter or Mercedes work trucks. Additionally pop up roofs. Finally I've seen people DIY a normal cargo van like a Ford E150 chop the roof off and jerry rig their own tall roof lol :P

HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP are going to be the most commonly used languages for web development which is a huge aspect of digital business. So always helpful languages to learn for freelance work. Developing WordPress websites is another solid avenue :)

Hey Dave, welcome! What kind of van do you have? I'm hopefully getting one within a few months to convert and start road tripping! :)
